CIPPEC continues to be involved in the T20 pushing strategic issues on which it works in Argentina together with other think tanks.
Presentation of the document “Rebuilding education systems for recovery: a crisis-sensitive and equity-focused approach”
During 2021, CIPPEC contributed to the drafting of public policy documents together with researchers from around the world in the framework of T20 Italy.
Alejandra Cardini, director of CIPPEC’s Education program, and Prachi Srivastava, from the University of Western Ontario, led the drafting of the policy brief “Rebuilding education systems for recovery: a crisis-sensitive and equity-focused approach”.

Contributions to the Global Solutions Journal
In May 2021, CIPPEC was part of the “Global Solutions Journal 2021 Summit Edition”, a book made up of a series of articles written by T20 researchers at a global level.

Florencia Caro Sachetti and Luciana Petrone, coordinators of CIPPEC’s Social Protection program, presented the article “Gender mainstreaming in the COVID-19 policy response. Fostering equality during the pandemic and beyond”.
Alejandro Saez Reale and Melina Nacke, coordinators of the Cities program, contributed to this initiative with an article on the importance of providing green infrastructure in informal neighborhoods. Education at the round table “The future of education after COVID”
Alejandra Cardini, Director of CIPPEC’s Education program, participated during May in the T20 associated event “The future of education after COVID: leaving no one behind”, in cooperation with Comexi, Fedesarrollo, OECD and in partnership with the UCL Institute of Education.

On November 24, Gala Díaz Langou, Executive Director of CIPPEC, participated in a brainstorming session with Sachin Chaturvedi, Director General of the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), members of the organization and other international think tanks.
There was an exchange of ideas to reform Think20 (T20) in the lead-up to Indonesia’s chairmanship in 2022. Gala shared the lessons learned from CIPPEC’s role in the T20.
