CIPPEC: the most important think tank in Argentina for economy and social policy

CIPPEC was chosen as the most important think tank in Argentina in the economy and social policy categories. It was also ranked as the sixth most important think tank of the region, according to the 2017 Global Go To Think Tanks Index.

CIPPEC was chosen as the most important think tank in Argentina for the categories of economy and social policy. This is according to the 2017 edition of the Global Go To Think Tanks Index, a study carried out by the University of Pennsylvania which orders and picks the best think tanks according to their region, research area and performance. The study ranked CIPPEC, in this edition, as the sixth best think tank in Central and South America and second in Argentina.

It also came first in Argentina in the category for “best managed think tanks” and “transdisciplinary research”. The think tank also came first under the heading of “public relations” and “use of the internet”. In the last category, CIPPEC is ranked as third best in the region. It was also ranked as the first think tank in Argentina and second in the region for “use of media”.

In this latest edition of the index, Argentina is ranked for the first time as the fourth country in the world with the most think tanks, with a total of 225. The study from the Lauder Institute showed that our country was positioned behind the United States, China and the UK, and that it was the only Latin American country to reach the top 10.
